I have had the pleasure to travel to some of the most beautiful places on earth. Along the way I fell in love with Italian shoes (I can't live without them), my husband (the only one I'd give up my Italian shoes for!) and that lovely, relaxing feeling we chase a couple of times every year when we abandon all that we must do and head off on vacation.

I've tried to capture that relaxing feeling, that we find along the shore of a secluded beach, in the Isola Isabella line of swimsuit cover ups and après beach wear. I aimed to create items that could shift effortlessly from day to evening, beach to dinner. My thoughts wandered to holidays of white sand beaches and evenings of seaside dining on St. Barts; to breezy afternoons in the Exumas and late lunches in Portofino.

Hello, my name is Heather and I've designed a line of swimsuit cover ups that I think feel wonderful to wear. They're sexy because they're made of silk chiffon that just whispers against your skin. They're forgiving because they're just sheer enough to show off your figure but not too sheer; they nicely hide my flaws (which I'm learning to love with every passing year!) And I've embellished some of the cover ups with Swarovski Crystals which I think helps the garments cross over quite nicely from an afternoon anchored off of Capri to dinner ashore later that evening. (If only we could stay there all year!)

The goal was to create a collection that echoed the effortless elegance of a relaxing holiday and captured the calm confidence we find when, on those few occasions, we put ourselves first and for a rare moment sit back and allow ourselves to savor our accomplishments. The result was the Isola Isabella Collection.

I'm very pleased with the results of our efforts and I hope you enjoy the collection as much as I have enjoyed making them for you.
